Just read and watched a video of Greg Marshall's wife. What an ass she must be to deal with, cussing and being drunk at a basketball game. Was screaming and cussing Kentucky players and coaches, and what is even worse was a Kentucky sports writer was tweeting her actions and a Ncaa guy goes to him and tells him to delete the video and quit tweeting as it was upsetting Linda Marshall. Say what?

There is NO reason to be drunk at a basketball game IMHO, but to be a coach's wife is even worse at a college event. Any other fan or female would have been escorted out of the building, just because she had special treatment because she is the coach's wife is terrible. If I'm the President or AD at Wichita State I would be having a meeting today with the Marshall's.

Now in saying all that, Greg Marshall is a helluva Coach, dude is a winner. Also I'm not a fan of Frank Martin, but he also is a helluva Coach, calm during critical times but yet can explode and get the attention of his players.

I hope that sports writer told the NCAA rep to go 17 himself.

He did delete while the Ncaa guy stood over him but he put it back up when he left the building.

Glad he did that. I'm just trying to decide under what authority the NCAA rep thought he had for making him delete that.

Wolken was tweeting about it last night - NCAA has a rule about videoing and/or photographing from the Press Box area. The guy was in the press area and was made to follow the rule. I have a feeling it has something to do with broadcast rights. $$$

The NCAA owns all video rights (and probabaly still photograph rights) to the tournament. You aren't supposed to broadcast or post video without their permission. That applies to fan posts as well. They will usually ignore what fans do, but they do have the right to come after fan videos if they want to. Same for reporters.

I can think of plenty of reasons to be drunk at a basketball game....(cough) Stansbury, (cough) Rick Ray (cough) Renardo.

Ehh any other fanbase besides UK and we never hear about this and she never gets kicked out the game. I have seen much worse many times at many different games in several different sports.

One would think that the coach's wife would feel compelled to act with a little more dignity however.

Yeah, or you are a college kid and its the weekend and you are going to be drunk wherever you are (including a basketball game). Doesn't mean you have a right to act like an ass, but I'd guess a healthy number of the student section especially are drunk in the Hump. I don't see how its any different than football games in that regard.

Why? She is in the stands amongst the WSU fanbase cheering her ass off for her husband in his most important game ever. Let her scream whatever the **** she wants because it's a tremendously stressful game for her family. Why do people have to seek out ways to be offended? Watch the game and ignore the woman imo. Just another example of Kentucky fans being a bunch of whiny bitches. That fanbase doesn't deserve the success that basketball program brings.

Comes across as a whiney post. Videos of that lady being a loud fan at a big game? What does that prove? If she really was being as obnoxious and crude as he claimed, he should have posted videos her cussing and being a general Drunk ass hole. Maybe she was being terrible as the writer claims, but you're gonna have to dish out more than that if your target is a coach's wife.

Looks like she was a good fan, screaming her ass off. If she wasn't Marshall's wife then people are talking about her being hardcore awesome. UK fans need to go back to their safe spaces and whine like the little bitches they are.

Side not: We went to the UK football game this year in Lexington and apparently UK football fans HATE MSU. I guess losing for like 7 straight years does that to you but walking to the game was really interesting.

OK ... I'll admit I didn't see the video. Just going from what I read here.

But in general ... there's nothing wrong with her yelling and screaming and supporting the team, as long as it's done with a sense of decorum. She's not a college student. And it's certainly not OK for her to show up drunk and make an ass of herself. It's bad enough for the students to do that, let alone the coach's wife. She has to excercise restraint. Everybody used to jump all over Stansbury's wife for some reason, but I never saw her act out of line. And I don't think she was ever drunk.

The video I watched, she didn't look drunk. She might have been but she didn't look out of control or anything.
