Y'all remember that time when on a weekend not too far in the distant past we outscored Arkansas 21-5 to not only sweep the 3-game series, but to win an outright SEC regular season baseball championship? And how fun it was to sweep our last 3 SEC series and win 11 of 12 to close the regular season?
Kudos to the MSU marketing department because 'We Ring True' really resonates with the MSU faithful. While most of the time we're not the last ones playing on the field or on the hardwood, its the competitive nature and all of the heartbreaking losses we've endured over the years (in all sports) that really, truly makes weekends like Arkansas-of-last-year special and makes Bulldog fans everywhere truly appreciate the sight of hoisting the trophy and dog piling on pitching mound.
Yeah, we may not have the most trophies in the trophy case, but I'm glad God blessed me with my Bulldogs. Now let's go sweep Arkansas again!!!
