Dan was just given an extension at 4.5 million bc our admin feels he's good. He's won national coach of the year before. He's our most successful football HC ever. ESPN CFB guys vote him 2nd best sec HC. Random tries to get Mullen run off and discounts Mullen every chance he gets. Who's out of line... me or random?

Not sure where I see RP is trying to run him off just yet ... might be like me I think and wants to see improvements in areas that Dan has yet to improve upon.

I read the article quickly. One guy that voted for Mullen said part of coaching is recruiting ... and then said Dan always exceeds expectations. He sorta put the 2 together like Dan doesn't recruit well, but yet he does a lot with the players he gets. Ok ... so we finish 6th in west as opposed to 7th.

Only in 2010 has Dan exceeded what I thought we were capable of going into the year.

And after all of that he still can't tell who the best running back is on our team until halfway through the season, and only then because of an injury to the starter. And it took a loss to a joke team to tell which QB should be starting. That's not good, and it isn't the first time it's happened or last time it's going to happen.

it also takes a pretty good coach to sellout stadiums, 7 years consecutive bowl invites, bring in QB's that can actually play to MSU, and getting to #1 for 5 weeks....
