Game is on ESPN2. UConn is currently ahead by 50 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. One UConn gal has hit 11-11 3's.

Did someone say they're not as good as last year? I'm not so sure about that ....

Auriemma is one of the best coaches the NCAA has ever seen

My bad ... it's only 10-10. Her name is Samuelson, and has scored >40 for this game. They just took her out and she sorta acted like that was it for the night. I've only been watching for maybe 10 minutes, and her shots are all nothing but net.

Score is now 93-33 basically at the end of the 3rd quarter.

How bad did they beat us last year? Was it 60 or so?

Best I can tell, none of the starters played the last quarter so USF had a little run. They only have 10 on the team, I think the announcer said.

They're not as good as last year. That doesn't necessarily mean that much, but the bottom line is that if you're going to beat them any time in the next 3 years, it will be this year.

They pretty much don't have any seniors, their best 2 players are sophomores, their freshman PG is going to be a stud, and oh btw, they have the #1 recruit in the country coming in.

They are going to be flat out unbelievable next year, and there's a chance they're even better the year after that. So they're just about unbeatable now, and yet this is truly their 'down' year.

Seeing as how our regular season and SEC tourney did not end as we would have liked and thus cost us a #1 regional seed, I'm thinking that's probably not that bad as it looks like South Carolina is in line to be the #1 opposite UCONN. As a #2, we will probably fall onto the other side of the UCONN bracket.

For the record, I 100% realize that I'm talking about getting UCONN in the National Championship game and not in the semi-finals of the Final Four - lol (we can all dream, can't we???).
