Keffer McGee

Just read on Facebook where somebody tagged Steve about whether the university would consider doing some sort of monument or honor for Keffer. Steve replied back this August is the 20th anniversary of his death. If there was ever a year for MSU to do something, this would be the year. Was thinking maybe the members of this board could collectively ask the school to do something for a great player that was taken way too soon.

Young man left this world too soon. Love to see some type of memorial day in his honor during a home game.

I have heard before that the university has reached out to Keffers mom and she didn't want any type of public "remembrance"
I think Strickland visited with her a few years back, And it was decided it was up to her going forward.
