Yes he can be redshirted. Better chance he doesn't make the squad next year depending on how the draft goes.

He was coming on the last few scrimmages. I hoped to have him as an option at DH or 1B.

We need him to be a third baseman. We have two JUCO first basemen signed- Rey Riviera who is a draft risk and Alex Pener.
