It was tongue in cheek, but it was saying that Mullen purposely antagonized the rebel bunch with billboards, and they would never win again ect ,in to cheating so that the current state of affairs happened. Even so far as saying he timed it to coincide with Slive's leaving.

They give Mullen far too much credit. When he was winning three straight we were far superior in coaching. OM going "all in" made Mullen contemplate leaving.

Now that the NCAA is about to drop a nuke on Oxford Mullen looks like a genius both on the field and off the field. The MSU job just became more appealing now that our next door neighbors will have to stop stealing from our house.

Maybe CDM is indeed not as diabolical as this makes him seem, but for those of us who were paying attention, this smacks of the same scenario as when Billy Brewer saw the writing on the wall as JWS came to town.

The ink wasn't dry on Jackie's contract before Brewer called him a liar. Them OM ramped up the cheating with all the strip club benefits in Memphis as well as a list of other infractions they got them up to the neck in some smelly water.

We just have to CAPITALIZE on this chance. It seems like every time UM gets down we also shit the bed for unrelated reasons. We need to put our foot on their throat and keep them down...then use this oppurtunity to create a gap between us and them.

But we have to do it cleanly. You KNOW they will be looking to take us down most of all....well...maybe also LSU their TRUE rival.
