Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball.com tweeted it out but it looks like he may have deleted it. Likely because of State and Ole Miss fans getting into a pissing match over it.

Rogers also said it was a rumor so not officially fact yet.

So was it a joke or what?

Question is, why wouldn't they? Women's basketball, track and football all have sanctions. Why not check it all while in town.

I wonder what's the record for most sports at a school under probation at one time?

I don't think it was a joke. I've heard rumors myself. Rogers is a national baseball writer and I can't see any reason why he would joke about that. If he is it would be out of character for him.

I've brought this up several times, but will say again that it would be very naive to think football is the only big boy sport the Network services.

Basketball is more corrupt than any sport. But baseball just isn't that way. Perks, yeah. A meal or some junk here or there. But nobody is paying these dude like those two sports. Not even close and not even at ole miss. Just don't buy it.

What were the violations that their track team committed? I don't think I ever read.

ESPECIALLY considering how bad they want to be State in baseball. They have been desperate to be like MSU in terms of baseball ever since Bianco got there and they got a whiff of being relevant. I wouldn't put it past them at all.
