University of Illinois Chicago takes down Vandy in first game 5-3. Their RPI was 150 I believe. Makes me feel a little better about Morehead...

Exactly, its really more about HOW we lost than just the fact we lost.

We all knew we would loose some we shouldnt and win some we shouldnt. The problem I had wit it is we should never loose that bog of a lead in the 9th. Just like yesterday. Giving up a 6 spot in the 9th is concerning.

Blake Smith losing it is the biggest problem. He and Rigby were our only returning relievers that were supposed to be proven. It would have been different if it was a new guy seeing his first action. You might check it off as nerves but Smith pitched in a lot of our big games last year.
