How do you "prove" that a backpack full of cash was given to a recruit or his family. There's no money trail and no receipts! We all want the huge payments to be found, but in reality, it's hard to track cash.

There was a rumor that the year after they realized Mullen owned them they called a meeting in Jackson and got over $1 million in commitments towards recruiting. I have no clue if that's true, but I heard it before the crazy amounts of spending started. Naturally, as their recruiting rankings, along with the stink surrounding their classes grew, I started to believe the rumor. Wish there was a way to confirm it, but I don't think that'll ever happen.
