pest control

anybody do it themselves? if so, what do you use to keep all and any bugs away from your house?? i use a service but it doesn't seem to work too well. They spray inside and out--

I used to pay for a pest control service also, but still found plenty in/around the house. When we moved, I started using an ortho home defense spray inside and out. The only bugs I ever find in the house now are dead right next to the door. It's a hell of a lot cheaper and seems to work just as well or better. I spray about once a month.
