This ranking was done two years ago and has him last among reported SEC salaries, but was before his extension and raise a couple months later, and it acknowledges he gets unreported income from the Bulldog Club as well.

His extension bumped him up to $662,500/year base salary, which probably puts him near the top in total package. And he'll probably get another raise after this year.

If he isn't top 3 SEC (I assume that easily puts him top 10 nationally) in compensation going into next year, it's athletic department malpractice.

Make A&M pay to get him. Tell Sexton sorry but until your client shows sack against Bama we need to claw back a couple hundred k thats going to a more worthwhile cause.
