We going after this 4-star, one-time starter OT transferring out of Clemson? Know he's visiting LSU, but are we interested and do we have a shot?

He's already visited LSU. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up at Florida or LSU. I think Florida is the favorite. He's from Tampa.

While that makes sense, how does the opportunity look at those two schools? We know he'd have a damn good shot to start here as soon as he is able. Same true at UF and/or LSU? And yes, I know a truly great player will never think he can't win a spot, even if there's plenty of competition on the other teams, but could it still not be a factor in our favor should we decide to pursue him?

A guy of his caliber starts wherever he goes. Whether at LT or RT. He was starting at Clemson until he got hurt in the 9th game. He's not leaving bc of playing time he's leaving bc he & the coaches got into it.

He's not a grad transfer he has to sit a year. He's good enough he would've won a starting job this year at either place.
