How will he handle the pitching staff this weekend? Will he use the Thompson-like piggyback system? Or will he allow the starters to go as deep as they can before getting into our suspect bullpen?

There is nothing like game action. You can throw on the side, throw simulation, etc, its not a game situation. I think the starters will go 4-6 innings (probably on the low side of that), bring in a middle man (or two) to setup a closer. We need to get as many pitchers throwing this weekend to do a couple things. One, get game time action. Two, evaluate the pitchers going forward.

He has to be better than the short turd we had last year. He helped 4 or 5 pitcher get Tommy John surgery.
