I understand the point of no story today... BUT... There's been dozens of opportunities to update this 4 year ongoing saga that have just mysteriously floated right by the CL. It took national news outlets to break the story after months of us, here at Elitedawgs, telling everyone what was going on. They have purposely ignored it.

To be fair Tiger Woods being in sex rehab in Hattiesburg was also posted here weeks before that broke too, but it wasn't systematically ignored.

During Jackie's investigation, there was pretty much a weekly update. Anybody remember Tiregate? That was huge news but Tunsil getting paid from coaches and moving his family 13 hours to Oxford for 3 years isn't?

Pretty obvious that after Riley Blevins was made an example of that CL sports writers are not going to touch this story unless directed to (if they want to keep their jobs). And they certainly will not be directed to.

If Clay Hall, Michael Rubenstein, Rick Cleveland and others were still with us or still in the reporting game, one of them would be doing some digging and some actual journalism. Some of those guys were liked and some weren't, but back in the day, we had journalists who got to the bottom of stuff. These guys today are scared to death to report anything.
