Russell: a pure pocket passer with cinder blocks for shoes. About as mobile as Jabba the hut. When given time probably the more accurate of the bunch. When pressured and lumbering for his life has no qualms about throwing into triple coverage. Decision making can be very suspect at times which causes him to sit on the ball like he's waiting to see what hatches. However, he is a 5th year senior so he knows the play book and receivers better than anyone else. Also has an arm to stretch the field if given a chance.

Prescott: true dual threat QB. Very mobile and shifty with a strong arm. Accuracy is still not down yet as several throws still tend to be high and/or behind receivers. Does not seem to be as phased by pressure due to his escapability. Not sure if the whole play book is open to him yet which may make game planning against him slightly easier. Looks like staff may be offsetting that with more wr sweeps and misdirection which his dual threat nature makes more effective. Definite strong upside potential.

Williams: true freshman that still has a steep learning curve. Athletic ability definitely there and shows good potential. At this time it would be ugly if he had to go up against a good defense but that would be true of 99% of freshman qb's. mr autograph the exception. Time will tell if he has the tools to start but right now can feel confident in saying he becomes a solid back up at a minimum.

All this being said, our ol couldn't block a team of first graders. I think Russell could be very very good if he wasn't having to check his blind side two seconds after taking the snap. In the past his receiving corp has also been less than stellar which may be a factor to his holding the ball too long. However, things are how things are and we need a mobile QB running the show for our best chance at success. We can't let our defense be exhausted by halftime. If dak is not named the starter then he at least needs to see much more playing time.
