A Good Bulldog talked with prospective Tennessee AD Phillip Fulmer a couple of days ago. Fulmer's take on Mississippi:

1. Hugh Freeze is done in college football. No way he survives.
2. Everybody in the SEC hears OM is going to be the new penalty standard for college football
3. The SEC is getting flak and needs their sacrificial lamb. OM made themselves the easy choice.

I believe it. OM going on massive probation in no way hurts the SEC & yet is a pretty good PR move for the conference. Shows other conferences that we are serious about cracking down on cheaters.

Ha. Fans from other conferences won't look at it this way. They will see the NCAA cracking down on one of the members of SEC for cheating. They will think this is just the tip of the iceberg in the SEC. Not that I care as I too hope OM is hammered.
