Infield is looking a lot stronger. We might make a push for the playoffs if Colon and Dickey are in form.

I am seeing some buzz that Sergio is going to miss the entire season with a shoulder injury from the MVA he was involved in back in January. Right now, the line up appears solid with Inciarte, Swanson, Freeman, Kemp, Markakis, Phillips, Garcia, and Flowers getting the majority of the time.

Braves are a Wild Card team potentially. Gonna be significantly better than last year.

Phillips is an excellent defensive player (4x gold glove winner) with some nice pop to his bat. This is a great pickup for the Braves especially since his $14 mill salary is getting paid for by the Reds this year.

We get Phillips for a year and maybe bring Albies up later in the year. I wonder what we had to give up to get him.

Phillips is a douche. That is all.

He is definitely a good fit in the lineup until Albies is fully ready to take over next year. With all of our young talent, it's nice to have some veterans sprinkled in there

Means we keep him under team control for his age 27 season.

Sure to opposing fans but he's very engaging with the fans of the team he plays for. Reds fans loved him.

Rosenthal saying now that Rodriguez is out 3-5 months with non-minor surgery from the car wreck.

Braves trying to stir up a lil more excitement for the new stadium. Kinda false sense of improvement IMO with some guys that seem too old. But I guess it could turn into being competitive for a wild card spot come September. I just think they needa be wise with trades and still look to '18 as THE year.

3-5 months once season kicks off in April or 3-5 months from now?

He did not clarify. He just said surgery next week and out 3-5 months. I'm going to guess from the surgery.

I think from the date of surgery (shoulder), which he hasmt had yet.

Thanks. 3-5 months is a pretty big gap. 3 months would be mid-may, which isn't that big of a deal. 5 months would be mid-July, which is pretty bad.

Latest report is he may miss the entire season.

Latest report is he may miss the entire season.

Wow... that's 3 months to 7 months. Does anyone have any idea?

So...

Inciarte -- cf
Swanson -- ss
FF -- 1b
Kemp -- lf
Markakis -- rf
Phillips -- 2b
Garcia/Ruiz -- 3b
Flowers/Suzuki -- c

I think this lineup could be be pretty good offensively. There's some defensive issues on the corners, but very, very solid up the middle
