I thought the went to Mississippi Industrial which doesn't exist anymore.

Mississippi Vocational was renamed Mississippi Valley in Mid 60's... Mississippi Industrial is the abandoned College across the road from Rust College...Deacon was a Delta Devil...

He was only Valley for one season. He started at South Carolina State

I've got a Delta Devils t-shirt I wear all the time. You could say I get a few odd looks being that I don't fit the perception of someone who would own and/or wear a MVSU. Was always a Jerry Rice fan and have loved their mascot/logo since a kid.

ETA. I emailed the Baseball coach in college and wanted to buy one of their hats. Never got a response. Every year they came to Starkville I would try to buy one too.
