Lady Gaga did well. She followed the Prince/Micheal Jackson example- and simply used her talent. Nothing else. I'm not a fan- but she made it about her as it should have been.

I actually liked Lady Gaga's performance. It was football centric, and I love how she started the show in a very patriotic manner

This. I'm not really a fan of hers, or her style of music, but she did a great job. Loved the patriotic bit at the beginning, too.
