According to Dandy Don:

In recruiting news, after seeing half of Louisiana?s top 10 prospects in this most recent class choose to go out-of-state, I hated to learn last night that two of the state?s top prospects for 2018 committed to Kansas yesterday. According to a tweet by Shea Dixon of 247Sports, wide receiver Devonta Jason and defensive back Corione Harris, both of Landry-Walker High, committed to Kansas yesterday during their visit. Both of these kids were once committed to LSU, and with so much time between now and NSD 2018, I would be very surprised to see both them stick to their latest commitments, especially if LSU?s offense under Matt Canada has the success we?re all hoping it has. Jason is currently No. 4 on our list of Top Louisiana Prospects for 2018 while Harris is No. 7. What makes this all the more interesting is that Kansas - yes, Kansas ? now has commitments from a total of three top Louisiana prospects including running back Anthony ?Pooka? Williams of Hahnville who is No. 20 on our list.

Kansas's RB coach was the HC at Landry-Walker High 2 years ago

They got 5 LA commits yesterday. With that said, LSU fans think this won't stick and its an attempt to try to get Tony Hull the LSU RB job

Those won't stick. Expect both at LSU (unless Corione Harris isn't a take for them, but he should be).

What worries me here is that this assistant appears to have real influence over these kids. So, if this guy gets hired by LSU, I could see both going there. Ultimately what we need is for this assistant to not get offered a better job.

Kansas and football are like oil and water.

This thread probably resembles those written about MSU previously.

But as much as Kansas does suck, they are our Adidas brother.

I seen it dawg

Why wouldn't LSU go after Jason?

Damn, must be nice to be able to take a pass on the numbers 4 and 8 players in your state.

Well they already offered him and accepted his commitment previously, no? Hard to imagine he isn't a take for them. Either way, his chances of ending up at Kansas are about as likely as Nick Brassell's chances were to end up at MSU.

They probably would take Whop now but they aren't pushing. Harris isn't a take anymore. With them wanting to play together I don't think you see them at Kansas or LSU.
