Just wanted to see what y'all think.
1. Most Popular: Who is gonna be the fan favorite out of the group?
2. Most Likely to Succeed: Who has the most NFL potential?
3. Best Dressed: Who looks the part? First guy to step off the bus.
4. Best Hole Filler: Who best fills a hole created from a departing senior in 2016?
5. Immediate Impactor: Who has the best chance to make a serious impact game one of 2017?
6. Offensive MVP: When it's all said and done and their college careers are done, who will be the most valuable offensive player from the class?
7. Defensive MVP: When it's all said and done and their college careers are done, who will be the most valuable offensive player from the class?
8. Diamond in the Rough: Who is this classes Bmac/Preston Smith/JBanks/etc..?
9. No I in Team: Who is the best team player? While maybe not the most athletic, this guy will do anything for the team and puts the teams accomplishments over his own.
I'll lead off:
1. Most Popular: Willie Gay. Home town hero who turned down, and turned in OM money.
2. Most Likely to Succeed: Chauncey Rivers. Baker will develop him into a top 3 round pick.
3. Best Dressed: Noah Elliss. 6'5" 325 lb Somoan DT. Wouldn't want to mess with him 2673
4. Best Hole Filler: I'm gonna go with Montez Sweat filling the hole left by Jon Calvin. Need someone to get some sacks, and he will. He picked up offers from LSU, Auburn, Florida and Georgia after committing to MSU, but stuck with State because he fills a hole and will start immediately.
5. Immediate Impactor: With Kivon gone, and B. Bryant being a shithead, I'm gonna go with Brian Cole. I think he beats out Jonathon Abram for the Day 1 start at one of the safety positions.
6. Offensive MVP: Hard to leave Kylin Hill and Key Thompson off the list, but we haven't had a problem lately finding RB or QB. However, we have had problems finding Left Tackles, and I think Cordavian Suggs is going to be a future All-SEC LT as well as a draft pick.
7. Defensive MVP: Gotta go with Willie Gay. He will play a lot his true freshman year, and will be a stud for us for 3 years.
8. Diamond in the Rough: Tyler Williams, no doubt about it. He will be a stud when he fills out his 6'3" frame. Seen a lot of JBanks comparisons.
9. No I in Team: Gonna go with Tyler Dunning here. I'm not saying that he isn't going to be a hell of a player, but as a kid from Florida with no connections to State, he recruited hard for us the whole time and never waivered from his commitment. These are the kinds of guys you love to have on your roster.
