Just saw on ESPN where Alabama signed 26 of the top 300. Are they all 5 stars? Amazing. How many of the top 300 did we get? Any?

Also saw where Maryland got the 20th ranked class. How does a school like Maryland do that. They're not really all that "major".

And how does Georgia keep doing so well? They continue to have mediocre records, but still always sign near the top.

Lot's of 4* players in the DC/Baltimore area this year. They recruited well close to home.

Kirby Smart is starting to do something Richt couldnt do- lock up Georgia and let others get leftovers

Yeah, Georgia has the same type of talent per capita as Alabama and Mississippi but way more people and more top flight high school programs because of Atlanta.

You won't ever completely lock up Georgia, but with the amount of talent there, if you can just make positive movement in that direction, there's a huge benefit.

Richt recruited very well. Smart is a great recruiter, and we'll see how well he sustains it. If he is able to even get in the vicinity of locking up the state, it will be a massive achievement.

Take a look at 2018, though. They're already behind the 8-ball there.

Kevin Plank under armour founder and CEO is trying to make Maryland the Oregon of east coast.

Even Vince Dooley couldn't lock down GA. Kids do not care about "state loyalty". They are going to go where they think they can play.
