Auburn is going to score points on us next weekend so our offense better come with their A game if we are going to have a shot to win.

Yes, because ASU and WSU's defense are better then ours...

With our WRs we should be able to exploit that with our size and speed at the skill positions. But you are right, they will score points. But I like our defense in space. We've got fast LBs and aggressive corners, so we should be able to at least contain them for the most part. We need to score 24 points to win this game I think. Malzahn has always given us fits so I think they will be able to put a few drives together.

I say we win 24-17. Malzahn definitely has an advantage over ASU as he knows exactly what to do to exploit that team. If there ever is an advantage to playing OSU it is for this game as we know our weaknesses. Auburn does not. Opening with two crappy teams tells us nothing about them.

I think we're gonna give their qb fits. If we can make them one dimensional, I like our chances

They look really fast on offense, but don't seem to be able to pass

It doesn't hurt that Malzhan coached them last year so he knows very in depth ASU's team.

I don't think Auburns offense is near as good as OSU. We win 24-10.

Troy worries me more than Auburn, and I'm dead serious. We will beat Auburn.

I think they score in the 20 to 24 point range. They won't run up and down the field on us but we aren't going to totally shut them down either. I agree we will likely need to score in the mid to upper 20s to win. Last time we went over there with Malzahn at Auburn we scored 34 and still lost and that was with Trotter as their QB who was not exactly a world beater himself. Hopefully our defense under Collins makes a much better showing this year.

They don't have a Dyer on their roster. Dyer beat us by himself in that game. He went for 150 by himself.

Plus our special teams were horrendous. Seemed like Auburn started every drive at midfield.

We beat Troy last year with the same offense we have this year but last year our defense sucked. Our defense is 100% better this year. I am not worried about Troy one bit. I worry about Auburn simply for the fact they are Auburn and we are playing them at Auburn. I think the last time we played there some how they knew every play we were gong to run. Head Sets screw up I think. I hate them cheating bastards.

I wouldn't look at that ASU game though at all as Malzhan coached there last year so he knows personnel and everything. I expected them to blow out ASU. What sucks is these two shit teams they played don't really tell us anything about them.
