Hope we can get Odom back in the boat. He would see his full potential at MSU.

That's really big for us to get 13 new players in for the spring. All the Juco guys will be here to learn the new system. 2017, we are looking at 6-6 or so, but 2018 should be a pretty solid year if we can find a replacement for Gray and Rankin.

Why would he have to miss the first 3 games?

Oh. JK. Misread Bonner's tweet

Chauncey Rivers enrolls at MSU with a 3-game suspension remaining from his time at UGA. How it affects him at MSU.

Prior to his dismissal, Rivers was already facing a three-game suspension stemming from two marijuana arrests in 2015. His first in November resulted in a one-game suspension. Another in December sparked a four-game suspension, which he began serving in Georgia 2015 bowl game.

The three games remaining likely fell under Georgia's discipline and not the SEC. It's likely Rivers wouldn't have to complete the suspension at Mississippi State, but the school couldn't confirm that at this time.

Really Clark?

Chauncey. He has to miss the first 3 games. Sucks.

That was a Georgia student conduct policy that required him to miss the bowl game and then 3 games. Is there something else? Because if you are talking about that then it wouldn't effect us. Is the SEC upholding that for some reason?

ETA. Sorry was typing when you clarified where you got that

By going to juco he already paid for his transgressions. He had to sit out of the SEC for a whole year. That's punishment.
