Our defense is impressive. I know it was Alcorn st but it was dominating. Last year against Jackson st there were receivers running free everywhere. That wasn't the case today.

Its obvious that we should have competed better last week against OSU and most of us felt that way watching the game. We were definitely outcoached last week with in game adjustments, we have a lot of good athletes and talent on our team. Probably as much as we've ever had. I do think the weak link is not enough SEC quality offensive linemen.

You guys amaze me. I agree that the OLine didn't look dominant....but my God guys, we lost Malone last week, and we played 2nd and 3rd stringers for damn near 3 quarters today. Again, they may suck ass and we may get rolled, but to say that after we run for 250 yards or whatever it was, just seems silly.

We had a pitiful 4rd down conversion rate against a SWAC team: 38%. That is seriously bad and bodes ill for our future against better teams. Mullen said it was a problem last week and it still is a problem. It does not show in the other stats because we did outman them badly.

The tide is turning. With a VERY vanilla offensive playbook today we still looked pretty good considering it was Dak's 1st career start. Plus I saw where Paul said we have played 6 true freshman thus far? Umm that should tell you we have alot of talent.......YOUNG TALENT.
