At the time I'm posting this there's 12 minutes left in the game and 38 fouls called. We've almost had more fouls called than minutes played in a full game. And there's still 12 minutes left to go!

Impossible to watch.

It's worse than the help bama gets in football. It's why I quit getting upset when we play uk because it's predetermined that the officials will not allow us to win. Several years back when we were still good we were beating uk by 6 or 8 with 2 minutes left. They called 10 fouls on us and zero on them in those last 2 minutes. I realized then resistance was futile when playing those turds.

I seen it dawg

Number of fouls called were terrible, but glad you posted the free throw stat. You HAVE to make free throws, if you want to win games you aren't supposed to.

Herard has to make FTs. He bangs down low and draws a ton of contact, so he's gonna have to make his FTs.

He has done a pretty good job at FTs lately.

The refs are being encouraged (forced) to call these fouls, and encouraged to call them even more often. The refs didn't all just get together and decided to start calling more fouls. They were instructed to.

It was his first time shooting with the face guard. Probably had a little to do with it.

He started the yr shooting about 40%. He made 6-8 last game. Not today tho. Q also was only 2-4. both late in game.

It's a lot to do with timing. So the 1st half we picked up 8 fouls in less than 8 minutes. Hell 3 happened within 5 game seconds. This put us at a huge defensive disadvantage for the entire half. Sure over the 1st half they equalized it with Kentucky's fouls, but the had 10 minutes of a "power play" on offense.

Same thing to start the 2nd half. 3 fouls in 3 trips down the court. Ticky shit that should have been called maybe 1 out of those 3. Helped them build an additional 7 point lead out to 18. Guess how much we lost by.

So in 120 minutes of action (or last three games) there have been 144 fouls called in Kentucky games (most were called on their opponent). What does that come out to a game? 48 fouls a game. Get ready to fight the officials if you play against Kentucky. With the way South Carolina plays, I predict 60 called in that game.

They called a foul on Q for blocking out and then called Q for a foul for setting a legitimate screen. The technical was debatable and should have been a no call on Q. That's three fouls on Q that were bogus as hell. Even the announcers pointed out how rediculous the foul calls were. It's obvious though if you play Kentucky, they are going to call the game tight. 144 fouls in 120 minutes in UK games tells you that.

Ted Valentine has been calling like that since the late 80s. Why would the SEC send Us that crew, Hell even Brent said get ready do some fouls.
