That's all well and good, but we have to make them change this. I would even go as far as saying we need to humiliate them over it. They quickly got backlash from State people on Twitter. That needs to continue, and our AD should pressure them until they back down and change it. Publicly.

Also, what idiot marketing guy in their AD came up with this without researching what they were going to call it? What's more, why would their powers that be not ensure there would be no trademark conflicts with the name they approved? Bunch of snowflakes running that place I guess.

It's trademarked just like "Bulldogs" is trademarked, but there are other teams that use that nickname. Or like "MSU" is trademarked, although there are other schools that use that.

TM means unregistered trademark. It is common to see multiple entities share it.

R means registered trademark. It is the sole property of the trademark holder and can't be used elsewhere.

It stops there so nobody knows how many they draw besides themselves. For comparative purposes, Liberty University ranked #50 at 1,405 per game. Even Missouri State was in the top 50.

This will go away quickly. We have kept it alive longer than Missouri could. Don't sweat it.

I'm all for defending our trademark and stuff but everyone does realize the Left Field Lounge is basically going away in the new Stadium right? No more trailers, which to me will kill the character of the space. There will be ground level pads folks can occupy, but it just won't be the same.

And from a liability standpoint I do understand the decision. I'm sure it'll still be great but it won't ever be the same.
