Rut

Checking in to see what everyone is seeing right now as far as the rut goes. In our area (Noxubee County) it seemed we peaked somewhere around the 26-29th this year. Saw a bunch of young bucks from the 18th-25th and after Christmas once that cold front came through things picked up with mature deer. They are still running pretty good right now as well. Hoping this cold weather this weekend and high pressure setting in will make for a good couple of days.

It's in full swing just south of Artesia. I saw 6 different bucks chasing does Monday morning.

Covington and Lawrence county.......nothing? Scrapes are everywhere now and I just started seeing a few bucks. Not one has been chasing anything on my leases.
