I'll put it a different way... vs the teams in the sec that I consider to have good defenses, here's hurts passing stats...

Vs lsu -- 10/19 107 yds. 0 td 1 int
Vs Florida -- 11/20 138 yds 1 td 0 int

He's struggled passing vs good teams despite having advantages with skill players

maybe, but i don't think the point was about comparing SEC to PAC 12. it was that Washington D is on a comparable level with LSU et al D, and not the rest of the SEC defenses. i think that holds as Washington was easily the best D in their conference. i don't think that means they are comparable to Bama's D, for the reason you mentioned.

Should be no surprise... USC held Washington to 17 yards rushing on 27 attempts. Washington isn't physical enough and Browning isn't a threat to run. Ohio stateor Clemson will be a much better game against bama
