may have moved that up a notch. It seems that Ark would be an easier job to win at than MSU or OM, just because there is no in state competition, closeness to TX, money, etc. Is the big line, running game, just not going to cut it any more? I used to live in Ark, and can tell you the press in Little Rock and the entire political system is all in on the Hogs as well, so what is their problem?

I think their population is their biggest disadvantage.

Petrino was well on his way to winning an SEC title. Probably a natty.
And at Arkansas , you get 2 "should wins" in the West every year.

3 of Bielema's last 4 defenses have been 10th or worse in the SEC. That is what is hurting him. They scored 50 on us in 2015 and still lost

Until they get some better defensive talent- they will continue to struggle. Same with A&M

It's always been that way for us in the SEC, our offenses are usually pretty good but outside of a few years (2006, 2014) our defense is usually mediocre. We haven't had a legit NFL safety in 15 years. For whatever reason we recruit offense a lot better than defense too, guess it's just what the state produces better.

You should have heard Little Rock sports talk today. They were roasting him. Even the typically cheerleader media guys.

He has one more year, tops.

Oh great... so one more year of being the "dark horse" in the West.
