I wasn't able to update this each week like I did last year (and there often wasn't much to say), but here's a summary of where our players ended up on the statistical rankings at the end of 2016:

Nick Fitzgerald
Fitz had 2 entries in the single-game passing lists this year, with 417 yards (6th) and 5 touchdowns (t-1st) against Samford.
Fitz finished the season with 196 completions (4th), 2,413 passing yards (4th), and 21 passing touchdowns (4th).
Fitz's career totals are now 207 completions (t-14th), 2,658 passing yards (17th), and 24 passing touchdowns (t-9th). If he plays 26 more games for us, he should easily end up 2nd in all 3 of those categories by the end of 2018 - he won't even have to replicate his numbers from this year. To break Dak's records of 734, 9,376, and 70, he'll have to average 264, 3,359, and 23 over the next two years - seems likely on the TDs and plausible on the yardage, but I doubt we ever go full on Air Raid with him like we did for Dak's senior year, so maybe not.
Even if Fitz doesn't break Dak's career passing records, he may break all of the rushing records.
He already set the single-game rushing yards record with 258 in the Egg Bowl.
He also tied the single-game rushing touchdowns record (now a 7-way tie) with 4 against Arkansas. I could definitely see him getting 5 in a game at some point.
Fitz finished with 1,385 rushing yards on the year, which is 6 behind Anthony Dixon's record of 1,391 from 2009.
He finished with 16 touchdowns (t-2nd), 3 behind Vick Ballard's 19 from 2010.
Fitz now has 1,512 rushing yards in his career, which is only 23rd all time, but I think he has a pretty good shot of breaking Dixon's career record of 3,994 - he'll only need to average 1,241 over the next two years.
He's now 11th in rushing touchdowns with 19, and he'll only need to average 12 over the next 2 years to break Dixon's career mark of 42.
Total offense is an another stat where Fitz shines. Total offense is the sum of passing and rushing (no receiving or returns).
Fitz made 3 entries into the top 10 of total offense this year: 536 against Samford, 459 against Arkansas, and 418 against UMass.
Fitz's 3,798 yards of total offense were good enough for 3rd in school history.
Fitz is now 10th in career total offense with 4,160. To pass Dak's record of 11,897, he needs to average 3,869 over the next 2 seasons. Definitely doable.
Fitz tied Dak's record of 7 total touchdowns agaisnt Samford, and had 6 against Arkansas and 5 against Ole Miss.
He had 37 total touchdowns this year, only 4 behind Dak's 41 in 2014.
Fitz is already 4th in school history with 43 total touchdowns (24p, 19r). He'll only need to average 34 over the next 2 years to match Dak's record of 111. (Or if you want to include Dak's 3 receiving TDs, make that 36.)

Fred Ross
Ross ends his career with school records of 199 receptions (obliterating David Smith's old record of 162) and 2,528 yards (old record was Chad Bumphis's 2,270).
He finished tied for second with De'Runnya Wilson with 22 touchdowns, only behind Bumphis's 24.
Ross didn't quite match last year's numbers, but he did turn in 72 catches (3rd) and 917 yards (8th) in 2016.
Ross tied Bumphis's single-season record of 12 touchdowns.

Donald Gray
Gray had 207 yards (6th) and 3 touchdowns (t-1st) against Samford.
Gray's career totals are now 62 catches (t-31st), 1,085 yards (24th), and 7 touchdowns (t-21st). To enter a top 10 list next year, he'll need 51 catches, 639 yards, or 4 touchdowns. None of those are far-fetched: he was 41/699/5 this year.

Aeris Williams
Aeris finished the year with 720 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, bringing his career totals to 928 and 7. He's 1,356 yards away from the career top 10 (assuming Fitz gets in there first), which probably won't happen next year, but should by the end of 2018. He'll need 14 more touchdowns to enter that career top 10 list, which seems likely by 2018.

Westin Graves
As we know, it was a tough year for Graves. His 11 field goals and 57.9% FG% don't make it into any top 10 lists.
However, his 26 field goals are good enough for 7th all time, and he's still the 5th most accurate kicker in school history over his career (68.4%).
