View Full Version : What's the deal with bowl tickets this year?

A couple of years ago I could get really cheap tickets to the Orange bowl on Stubhub or similar sites as the date approached (like $10). Since I live in Florida, I was hoping to do the same again this year but can't find any. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Know what u mean. My only explanation is that the Trop holds about 43k for a baseball game. I would bet that number drops to the mid 30's for a football game. Not a good venue to watch a game. The majority of the tix that were sold for a steep discount were most probably corporate sponsor's tix that were given away and no one wanted to go. Not that many sponsors for this game thus the very low payout. After being burned by the Gator and Orange bowls I was hoping to get a "cheap" ticket too but now I'm not holding my breath. I'm guessing the mid 20's for attendance.

I'm going to just try and get one from a scalper on game day. I was thinking just like you and have been frustrated about the ticket situation. I'm assuming it's not a sell out and at worse can get one at the ticket office on game day.

Anyone know how many tickets MSU got and how sales are going? Does MSU or the SEC have to pay for unsold tickets to the bowl games?

Wow what a garbage venue!!!

Not very many good seats at any price, assuming the diagram's to scale. Even the 50 yard line seats aren't good on one side.
