Buys out 4 arb years, adds a year of team control, and adds a club option year on top of that. Good deal for both sides. Braves lock up what likely will be best CF in baseball.

Pretty sure that's what they want to do right now with him. Let him play everyday in AAA

Gotta be strong up the middle defensively and braves are well on their way to that. If they could get any offense from the catcher position it would be a massive help.

Yeah i'm thinking Sean Rodriguez is the 4th OF right now. he's even played a little CF. he's the big question mark right now. incredible 2016 after adding a bigger stride to his swing. rare to see a veteran like him suddenly hit like that though, there may be a good bit of regression as the league adjusts to his new swing. if there's not, then he's a steal and he'll play plenty, nearly every day. if there is, then the Braves will have to make some changes, pushing him back to a utility role and likely calling up Mallex.

Possible, but I think we open with Teheran, folty, Garcia, colon, and dickey. I just hope one or more of wisler, Blair, Newcomb, and sims forces their way into the Atlanta rotation
