Is the sh**bird version of Tim Wakefield in the NFL.
- Never gets hurt
- Has two championships
- Is adequate enough to allow team executives to focus on upgrading other positions to make team better
- Good accumulated career numbers due to never getting hurt and always playing on good teams.
- When watching both play an entire game you say, "meh, this guy kind of sucks"
- Both are nowhere near Hall of Famers

Eli got bailed out by 2 of the best catches in Super Bowl history.
He has led the NFL in interceptions the last decade
Wakefield is the perfect comparision

Wakefield is the perfect comparision
He's averaged 15 INTs a season in his career and he's had 3 seasons where he's had 20+ INTs. Yet there aren't ever talks about benching Eli.

All I know is that if the refs would have called a BLATANT holding call in the line on “The Catch” or if Welker catches the #### ball to get the last first down.....he has NO rings......

I've never seen a football player so afraid of getting hit. All you have to do is bring pressure and he throws it up for grabs. He's a puss.
