No one knows and lord knows OM would never say - but to me, the mass exodus since the end of the season sure looks like they did. Barney was taken off the recruiting trail sometime in November. They took action Dec. 8 with Barney and Werner. That could mean they got a 2nd/and or revised NOA on November 1. Would be interesting timing for them to have to respond right about January 30 (90 days from 11/1).....

Akers don't give a 17*

Unless Akers can block for himself (he can't, watch the MS/AL game) or suddenly get great coaching at OM (he won't, see Freeze's coaching effect this year which ended up at -3), it won't matter. I actually don't have any ill will towards Cam - this is the most blatant case of parents/influencers hijacking a recruitment that I've seen in a few years. I still hold out some hope for Jimbo winning this one though, but it's down to less than a 10% chance I think.

If I was them I would be worried about this statement.

I can't figure out if I'd like to see UNM get a third NOA or get to the punishment stage sooner. I'm just really want to see them get hammered is all I know!!
I, personally, believe they've gotten an amended first or a second already. They've changed their strategy pretty drastically recently. At the same time it's been suggested the investigation continues as recently as a couple weeks ago.
So, drag it out longer or blow their ass up sooner?
