We will be on a backup between now the Feb. The staff has been keeping some guys warm, but it's been mute for a while now because staff didn't want to cause any issues with Keytaon.

Now that Keytaon is safely enrolled & practicing, my guess is that you'll start hearing a few names emerge

I'm sure we need another QB but I was kind of hoping Roberts might be good enough to handle mop up duty next year. Of course if we could find a decent juco to sign now, that would be good too. I would think the pick of the litter are pretty much spoken for at this point tho.

The perfect backup is dam Williams. He knows the system and he's a senior. We really only need a backup for fitz this upcoming season. After key's RS, we're good to go with him. We'll of course sign a qb next season to hopefully take over for key down the line. I don't really wanna tie a scholarship up for a HS qb that's essentially only needed in case fitz goes down next season. If we do sign another qb this year, I hope he's more of an athlete than pure qb so we can use him at another position after next season
