It's not going to matter. No matter what happens to freeze's job in Oxford, his deeds will follow him wherever he goes.

Then that's a good thing for us and bad for them. I just remember the last time that they were in this situation- and assuming Freeze is fired this summer like Brewer was in 1994- what Ole Miss did was have Joe Lee Dunn, by far my favorite Ole Miss football coach of all time, as the interim coach for a year and then they went job searching and ended up with Tuberville. I'm assuming that's how they would handle the situation again but I really don't know that. I could see one of those two being offered the job on an interim basis as well as the full time job. The big difference between 1994 and this time is they have a lot more sanctions and appear to have more coming. I don't know exactly how long it will be but I think we all can agree that they are looking at a longer period of probation than last time and a lot more damaging probation. That certainly could affect how they handle the coaching hire this time. Eventually they will end up with a Croom type of hire- a guy that is going to keep the program clean to get the NCAA out of their hair.
