Dak and the 'Boys...

It pains me how people and media are beating on Dak and the Cowboys because they had a bad game. Using words and phrases like "exposed" and "I told you so". For the "I told you so" crowd.... Yep, you told us so. It only took 11 straight wins first, but you sure did tell us. A broken clock is right twice a day.

And as far as "exposed"... I remember this team in 2009 that lost it's last three regular games before heading into the playoffs. No team had ever lost it's last three regular season games and won a playoff game, much less a Super Bowl. The word "exposed" was thrown around then too. Funny how that turned out.

I just don't like them hating on my guy, but that's the nature of the game. Haters gonna hate.

Dak is a big boy. This is part of playing QB for the Cowboys.

It isn't personal, it's just a fishbowl. The same thing would happen to Jalen Hurts if he played poorly & Bama lost.

Dak just has to keep playing. He's going to be fine

All QB's have bad days. Russel Wilson threw 5 ****ing picks yesterday, so I guess he was "exposed", too. Eli accounted for 3 turnovers, and could have had 2 more if the DB's didn't have dick fingers. Rogers has been up and down all season.

Dak doesn't play the game. If Dak played the game and became media "friendly" then they'd talk him up. Why aren't they talking bad about Brees, Rogers, or even Cam? Because they play the game and feed the media.

Actually Eli could have had 3 more INT's. Church dropped 2 and he hit the LB in the chest late in the game. Last night was not on Dak. The WR's couldn't beat man coverage and get open. Dez mentally was not there. Thought the offensive game plan as whole was horrible. Giants blitzed the whole night and Garrett never adjusted. Plus every time Dallas finally got some momentum on offense they'd get a penalty.

It wasn't totally on Dak, but he definitely takes a bit of the blame; again, not a big deal. It happens. He was obviously pressing and he missed several reads. However, the WR's got absolutely trashed last night. No one could get open, and when they did, they dropped passes (or fumbled them...).

Dak's issue is 2 fold: 1) He was a 4th round pick & everyone is waiting for him to turn into a pumpkin. 2) Tony Romo

If Dak was the QB of the Cowboys in a Carson Wentz type situation as a top 5 overall pick & no star backup, he'd be getting praised. Instead he's in a fishbowl that only the most mature of people can handle.

Agree with most of this but Dak gets his share of the blame too. Weak offensive game plan, lack of adjustments and sub-par effort from most of the players.

I feel pretty good about the offensive staff and players responding and rebounding from this wake-up call. Dak's leadership skills will come into play now.

Plus you just have to give some credit to the Giants defense playing on a night that was not conducive to offense on either side. Really other than the TD pass the Cowboy WRs got little to no separation all night from the Giant DBs. And on top of that the Dallas running game which has been so strong was very ineffective in the second half which meant the Giants put Dallas in a lot of obvious passing situations where they were really coming after Dak. Just got to move on to the next game at this point.

In the NFL its on any given Sunday. The Cowboys had a bad game, the game plan was crap, Dak didn't play well and Dez looked like he would rather be somewhere else. It happens. Heck Brady and the Pats just a couple of weeks ago lost to the Seahawks AT home, a Seahawk team who has got hammered the past 2 weeks. Its the NFL it happens. If anybody expected Dak and the Cowboys to only lose 1 game this year they were dreaming. Saying they were "exposed" is a little much, teams get "exposed" every week, its about who makes the adjustments. Game plan last night(and against Minnesota)was way to conservative compared the what theyve been doing. They Cowboys ran the ball on first down just about every time last night, the Giants knew it, crammed the box and stuffed it putting them in second and long and third and long all night. Will Garret go back to what they were doing earlier and having success? That's a question only he can answer.
