I have seen both play, not even close, I ran hurdles against/on the same track with Marcus, WoW. Dude went past us like we were all standing still.

Dupree would have dominated this game even if Mississippi had used his Philadelphia High offensive line. I don't think there is a close second to him in Mississippi high school history.

Akers is good , Dupree was Herschel Walker, Bo Jackson generational talent. Not only was Dupree super fast but he was huge! I saw Dupree in person and Akers ain't in his class. Sorry he's just not.

Last one to come out of MS that's close to Dupree would be David Fair. His knee injury shortened what would have been a great career.

I DVR'ed it. Been out shopping today for all the little Random's. I'm not surprised by anything Hill does though- the people I've talked to say he is 100% legit. Akers got a lot of pub because of his throwing also- he loses that on the college field. Hill and Akers will both be good RB's in college and whomever Akers signs with will be happy to have him. As the old saying goes- "there are no losers in this choice"

It's not even comparable, I grew up in Clinton, but Akers isn't in the same class as Marcus Dupree. Different level all-together...
