Army dominated the first quarter. We'll see if that holds. The INT that Army threw was big because going up 10-0 or 14-0 would built them a nice lead to work with.

I love this game. It's the way all college football should be.

As an aside, do you know what playing football gets the players in this game that the other Cadets and Midshipmen don't get? More work.

Hopefully he will use the sword to out Gary out of our misery. Danielson actually said at one point that Navy was having success running the ball. WTF?

35 is the number of missed holding calls every game whenever you play Bama.

Alabama is the 42nd ranked team in penalties. Auburn is the least penalized SEC team at #13 with 4.5 penalties per game. Navy, however, is averaging only 2.5 penalties per game.

They are a tribute to the 82nd paratroopers that jumped inot Normandy during WWII. Those flags did not face stars front like they do today.

Verne Lundquist's last CFB broadcast was Army breaking a 14-game losing streak to Navy. For all of the reasons to hate Verne in the booth, him calling the Army-Navy game was just all that is right in the world. Godspeed, Verne.

Yep! That was just an awesome game. Great way for Vern to go out. Verne was a great announcer for a very long time .
