My ideal scenario would be Kylin at RB and Akers at ATH and use him like Percy Harvin. I think everyone sees why now. And agree on Brennan. Not sure why LSU took him in the first place but they did take Chris Garrett too so maybe that isn't all that surprising.

Agree to some extent, but RB is about vision as much or more so than burst & speed. Ask Trent Richardson. Akers is extremely talented, but to some degree, he's a project

Be careful about making assumptions or jumping to conclusions based on an all star game. Sammie Epps looked like the next Antonio Gates a few years ago. Dontae Walker looked like Hershel Walker.

Akers is going to be good. There's no doubt. But he's currently a project at RB. Hill is more advanced at this point.

He has no change of direction that's God given. He's a straight ahead downhill runner only. SEC LB's can handle that pretty well. Epps was/ is just as good as Ole Miss #17. He never got a chance to show it

I've only seen highlights of the two and read descriptions, but generally speaking, give me RBs like Hill all day. Guys like Akers wow you in the open field, then you realize that's about the least important 5% of being a RB.

Can't show off your open field skills if you don't get there. Being a great RB is about FINDING open space. The difference between elite guys in the open field and the rest isn't that great. They're all in open space at that point.

All I know is that Hill had 98 yards. Not sure on how many carries.

Most of those yards were grinded out in 4-7 yard burst. He never broke free.

Meh. Madison Central tied West Monroe. It just tells me that there may be a gap between SSC and the MS league that they are in.
