I started my HS FB coaching career in Memphis at Trezevant High - formerly of the Albert Means/Bama scandal (but now known for back-to-back state titles under my former HC Teli White) - and I can tell you that every coach in that city knew of Oher and his abilities....and they ALL knew how crooked Freeze and the Touhys were in the whole thing. And then for that book and movie to make them all look like amazing people drove all of coaching circles nuts. But the movie nailed Freeze perfectly - an incompetent moron in over his head with no ability to coach effectively, just depend on rich egotistical people to buy him some players
