Is it common for recruits to follow the board?

They follow everything. So do most of their parents and a lot of their coaches.

No Bama players, all my Bammer co-workers say they're the greatest ever.

I understand the argument that we develop players but aren't the coaches that coached and developed C.Jones and F. Cox gone?

He wasn't in that list, but I gather KJ Wright went to Ole Miss. Or that's what they said Sunday night ....

I get what you are saying but does Saban and his program get credit for their RB's? Of course he does, but he is not coaching their position either.

According to what most people say that Dan meddles with the defense so yes he is the reason. We've had 5 or 6 defensive cord in however many years, whats the one constant? Dan mfing Mullen. Deal with it.

Not to mention Dan deserves credit for recruiting the types of players that fit his style. See "athletes" turned studs like Benardrick McKinney, Johnthan Banks, Dak, etc. Meanwhile, some teams take "studs" and play them out of position (CJ Johnson).

I never could figure out why they made CJ Johnson a DE. Other than he was overweight most of the time he wasn't hurt.

Fair comment. Hugh Freeze gets credit for his recruiting classes, but I think it is other factors bringing them in.
