Isn't Miami north typically a pretty scrappy bunch? What's their story this year?

They lost the first 6, then won the next 6. They don't play an SEC-level schedule but it seems that a lot of the time those "cupcakes" give us and other major conference teams trouble. I guess it's a matter of how the game is viewed.

They'll be pumped to play but so will our kids. It's be a good game. They will probably be able to throw on us some and we know special teams are a freaking wild card for us every weekend. Could easily be a closer game than 14, but if Fitz keeps rolling behind that OL likes he did at Ole Miss I don't think they're going to catch up to us on the scoreboard.

What type of coaching job does it take to keep your team from checking out after 6 straight losses and pull off 6 straight wins? That alone scares me that we might overlook them and get caught with our pants down with our crappy Defense.

You tell them Miami did not have their starting QB for the last 5 of those 6 losses. He returned for games 7-12, all wins

Not true. Our starter since the middle of last year went 0-4 and then left in the middle of game 5.

Gus Ragland, who was slated to be our backup/change of pace QB, came back from an ACL tear suffered in spring ball in time for game 7 and has gone 6-0 (15 TDs, 0 INTs).

He hasn't seen our new shutdown defense. **** We only used it in 2 games .. TAM and OM.
