Got it 100% right in my opinion. People are completely dismissing the fact Penn State lost 2 games. Yes they won their conference. But they beat the right team. If their win against OSU was switched to Michigan and their loss switched to OSU, this isn't a discussion because OSU gets in the conference championship. And OSU and Michigan are virtually the same team in my opinion so making that comparison I think is a fair one.

Washington won their conference and has good enough wins for me to like them at 4. This what have you done for me lately crap is stupid. We play this many games for a reason. Rankings are perfect in my opinion and the committee got this right.

I said bama over Washington 45-31 last night in the playoff thread. I think bama covers, but not by much. Bama better be ready for some tricks, misdirection... I expect Peterson to play this game just like he did vs Oklahoma in the bcs game

They made the right call. No way to put a 2 loss team over Washington

I don't have a huge problem with it, but the committee is contradicting themselves each year. Last year they told teams that it was important to play a tough out of conference schedule, and challenge yourself outside of the conference. Washington did not do that. Penn State did. If they would have scheduled a team like Central Michigan rather than Pitt (who beat Penn State and Clemson) they would be headed to the playoff, but Penn State listened to the committee, and were essentially punished for it.

I can't imagine the despair I would feel if MSU went through the SEC west and beat Alabama and won the SECC only to be left out of the playoff, and Alabama get in.

I could see taking Ohio State IF the team that won their conference, or at LEAST their division, also got in. Since that team didn't, and it also beat Ohio State head to head, Ohio State does not deserve to be there. It makes a mockery of the conference championship system.
