From our friends at Dandydon.com

"In recruiting news, I?ve heard that LSU is starting to show increased interest in Landry-Walker?s Keytaon Thompson after his big game in the 5A semifinal contest between Landry-Walker and Destrehan. Thompson, who is currently committed to Mississippi State, threw for 270 yards and a touchdown and ran for 98 yards in his team?s 50-14 rout. LSU still has commitments from Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse, but the former re-opened his recruitment earlier in the week and the later visited Auburn this weekend.
Two other recruiting tidbits: 1) Congrats to LSU running back target Cam Akers for his unbelievable performance in the Mississippi 6A State Championship game, His Clinton team won 49-35 and Akers rushed for 217 yards on 30 carries and 5 TDs while passing for for 228 yards and 2 TDs. 2) While LSU?s recruiting class is doing well with offensive linemen, I?ve heard the staff is really turning up the heat on 5-star Alabama commit Alex Letherwood and expects him to visit."

Nope. Key is ours.

If there were any second thoughts at all, I'm sure he'd get a call from Dakota and Dakota would explain how he was faced with the exact same circumstance and made the best decision of his life.

Not at all worried about Key. I think this is LSU just being scared, due to what happened last time.

I've been a little concerned about this since the coaching change. A little.

I'm not really concerned about Thompson to lsu, but if it did happen, we're screwed. We'd have 1 qb on scholarship/committed

Dak might need to phone the young man and give him a reminder.

Is that legal?

It might not be if Dak called him. It might be ok if he called Dak.

It's a secondary violation if he calls to help recruit. Tebow talked to a kid and OSU had to report it.

Only you

I'm not melting over another recruit ever. I've let recruiting take days or months off my life and I'm done with that. I keep up with and I want us to do well, but no longer will I flip out

That's worth a secondary.

That seems a little odd. I could understand if it happened while Urban was still at Florida, but there is no way Tebow could be classified as an OSU booster in any way, shape, or form.

You are correct. It's not a violation in the case you state above.

Correct me if I'm wrong .. thought Keytaon Thompson is going to be an 'early enrollee.' That would sure be in our favor. In the boat and signed .. 'before the crazy season.'

No, but he can call Dak legally
