If Penn St wins this game and does not make the CFP while OSU does it makes the whole system a joke. PN State will have won a power 5 conference AND won the head to head with OSU.

I think Wisky will whack em.... I'm not sure either are CFP teams under the current selection process...

contradictory, PSU blowout should get them in over Washington, IMO...

I'm on Dish, but no issue. Also have antenna as backup.

When you get a minute, flip to ESPN2 and check the picture quality of Ark State/Texas State. I swear that's not an HD picture, but it fills the screen. Maybe they ran out of HD cameras?

Not only that, but if Wisconsin wins, they will have beaten the team that beat OSU. But ... it's hard to believe a 2-loss team will make the playoffs.

Just flipped over in time to see Clemson go up 14-0. But I'm sure the officials will ensure Clemson wins, and probably wins big.

I was just thinking the same thing! The two pass interference calls on that last drive were questionable, especially the second one. I'm hoping the Hokies pull the upset, but they're going to have to beat Clemson + the officials.

Aranda gets credit as being a big time DC, but you've gotta wonder when you consider a couple things...

1. Wisconsin finished ahead of lsu in scoring defense, rushing defense, passing defense, and total defense. Wisconsin has had zero drop off from losing aranda.

2. Lsu is absolutely loaded with talent this year. There will be some big pieces to replace in beckwith, White, and most likely adams and godchaux

Wisconsin's continued success makes me wonder just how much was aranda vs lsu talent

Penn State deserves it. They won the conference. The committee should treat the conference championships as the 1st round of the playoffs.

If there was a P8, that would be awesome. Then the conference champs get seeded and go play for the title. That would be the best system IMO.

This year there are 5 deserving teams. No question about it. One is going to get left at the alter. That being said, I still think 4 teams is enough. Going to 8 will destroy the week to week implications of the regular season. 4 will be enough probably 9 years out of 10.
