I agree. It's one thing to lose Akers who never had much interest in us to begin with, but I'm going to be ticked if we lose another Starkville kid to OM. Dan and staff need to close the deal.

Agree, but also look that he's visiting on Dec 3rd. Would seem if he were serious about them he'd visit in January.

My biggest worry is the desperation that OM alumni have in recruiting. I wouldn't be surprised if they go off the deep end with some of their offers.

This isn't surprising or a bad thing. He was always OV to OM. Having him go this weekend instead of the big weekend is a win for us. We're in a great spot for Willie. I know CJ Johnson, Scott Lashley, AJ Brown.. They aren't Willie every kid is their own separate recruitment.

This is true. I'm from West Point although I haven't lived there for about 8 years, but I know that Brandon is very much in the know there.

WP staff also tried to make it because Dan didn't come by the school like Saban did in Jan. Dan did come in Dec which is all a coach is allowed. 1. So some of the info that came out was misleading as well. Maybe not intentionally, but still misleading per recruiting rules. They also made inferences of Cristobal's visits that was backtracked because some of those would have been violations. He did make good use of visit times, better than us it seems but we were also being told different things by Lashley's side. Hoped we learned from some of that

There were some changes made during the end of the recruiting season as well, if I'm not mistaken
