Hey maybe it's Oregon's AD coming to visit Mullen lol

That's cool. I'd just like to see us fly somebody in from Western Michigan. Two can play that game.

Also noticed a flight went into Eugene from San Francisco, then one departed back to SF 2 hours later. Chip Kelly?

Then the plane is going from GTR to MSP (Minneapolis-St. Paul)

I remember when we tracked Byrne's plane to Denver to interview Petersen (so we thought). In any event, Byrne was unsuccessful in hiring him.

Is it the OSU basketball team. Someone on SPS mentioned this to me. This would make sense as you wouldn't think they would charter a 737 just to haul an AD around. Gulfstreams can do that much cheaper.

Yep! 737 overkill for one person lol. If the Oregon ad was coming in I guarantee you it would be on a Phil knight private jet.

Oregon State is in Corvallis. Corvallis has their own regional airport. Eugene as also a regional airport, but the one closest to U of Oregon.

Then again, I don't see any flights going from Corvallis to GTR. That said, OSU could be flying from Portland Int'l.

Only a 50 mile drive. Just looked up the distance. Also, the Corvallis airport may not be able to support a 737 size for runway length.

Corvallis's runway length is 5,900 ft
Eugene's runway length is 8,009 ft

737-800 requires 7,166 ft of runway to operate in all weather conditions.

And it's an easy 50 miles. I flew into Eugene when we played at OSU a couple of years ago.

I actually recalled it was closer.

Cool. Helluva coincidence, given the rumors, but it does make sense if it's OSU coming in.

It is the Oregon State bb team. Sun Country is based in Minneapolis, so that explains the outbound GTR- MSP.
